Hello and welcome to WeShiba, my name is Peter Wedel and we are located in Cartwright, MB, Canada! We started breeding Shiba Inu's a few years ago and love and appreciate every moment with our Dogs. Shiba Inu's are amazing dogs and love to play with you, they always have a smile on their face and love kids! We are spending a lot of time with our dogs, and care for them very good. Even my youngest son, Timmy, loves to spend time with our dogs, and clean their kennel. We make sure our Shibas are healthy and live a happy life, because living a healthy and happy lives especially increases the health and well being of the puppies. We condsider our dogs as breeding dogs, yes, but also family dogs! We try to have fun with them and they love having fun with us. My Children come inside everyday and talk about the dogs nonstop, they always have something to say about the shibas, may it be about how cute one of them acted today or maybe what funny thing one of them did.
My Father in law told me about the idea of buying a Shiba Inu, he told me alot of good things about them, but also some negative things, and i feel like it would not be 100% fair if i would ONLY mention the pros to you and not also the cons. So i decided to tell you a little bit about Shiba Inu's.
Height: Between 34 and 45 cm
Weight: Between 7 and 11 kg
Life Expectancy: 13 - 16 years
Shiba Inu's are very smart dogs, which means that training should be rather easy for both the dog and the person that is training the dog. Even though Shibas are very smart they also sometimes tend to not listen to what you say because they want to decide what to do on their own, that means sometimes if they don't want to do "sit" because its to wet, they wont do it. That doesn't mean they will always not listen to you, no they learn quickly and often listen too, but also have their won head. Shiba inus love kids and attention, they will always be nice to kids, and woulnd.t even think of biting them, since they are very loyal dogs. Shibas tend to run away if always held on a leash, a very good example for this is that our first shiba always has to stay on the leash because we had her on leash all her life long, but the rest if our Shibas does not run away when off leash because they were used to being off leash since they were pups. in overall i would say, shibas are the perfect family dogs, but sometimes do have their own head and wont always listen to you! I can also tell you that you'll always have something to laugh about, since they do act pretty funny alot of the time!

We know and respect that some breeder's do not want to ship their puppies, but we decided that shipping our puppies is not bad for them but rather good. The fact that we ship our puppies allowes us to share the happieness Shiba Inu's bring all over Canada and eventually even internationally.
We ship our puppies via Westjet within Canada, we trust them and know that they do a great job shipping puppies, they have a lot of experience with shipping dogs as well. We have never had a case where shipping was bad or too stressing for our pups, no, we love them and if it wasn't good for them we wouldnt do it.
